Cancer survivor choose whole food nutrition instead of vitamins.

Tanya west here nutritional consultant and holistic cancer practitioner and I
just wanted to talk to you today a bit about why I made the switch from
vitamins to Juice Plus I feel as a cancer survivor and someone who has lost
friends and family to cancer that it is something I’m very passionate about and
I want to help others reduce their risk of getting cancer I have taken many many
health courses and I worked at a health food store a few years ago as well and I
had the mindset of taking your vitamin B taking your vitamin C and getting all
the vitamins support that you need and that is something I followed for for
many years so much so that I spent a lot of my paycheck I made it the health
store in the health food store because I thought I needed to take everything
under the Sun to be healthy and that just isn’t always the case especially if
you are currently going through cancer you’ll know that when you go through
chemotherapy for example the doctors will not suggest that you be on a
multivitamin and so that’s something that always comes back to me in
conversation and something another reason why I made the switch finally
after many years to go to Juice Plus what Juice Plus is is there’s three
three supplements that I would suggest and I shouldn’t say supplements because
they’re basically just whole food nutrition what they are is fruits
veggies and antioxidants you’re getting 30 in variety of fruits and veggies and
there is no contraindications when you are in chemotherapy so that is
definitely a big plus as someone who is a cancer survivor when
I was going through my treatments quite a few years ago one of the things that
was suggested to me was juicing and I did try juicing I found it a little bit
difficult at times because when you’re going through cancer and chemotherapy
your energy levels are quite low and it was a lot of work to buy all the fruits
and veggies figure out what to make what you will actually taste good and then
juice them all and and then do the cleanup afterwards so if you can do
juicing you you know by all means go for it and do try to get your seven to eight
fruits and veggies that are recommended in your day and if you don’t if you’re
not able to get all that into your day Juice Plus is a great way to bridge the
gap so you do feel like you are still getting your fruits and veggies
basically you’re not getting all the sugar and the water from the fruits and
veggies but you’re getting the whole fruit you are getting the peels as well
into the fruit and the seeds and everything that is good in the fruit
because there’s lots and lots of nutrients in there Juice Plus is
basically grinding everything down into a powder so it’s powder formed capsules
if your don’t want to take the capsule there are gummies available or you can
put it into a shake and actually break the capsules open and just take the
powder in your shakes as well if you have any allergies to fruits you can
take a tiny little bit of the powder and try it in your yogurt or into a smoothie
or something and see how you feel after if you’re okay you can increase the
powder and amount and see how you feel and I I love it I feel great I’ve been
in on it for a little while now I’ve actually switched from taking so
many vitamins to now taking just this whole food nutrition except makes sense
to me finally after many years to finally clicked and it does make sense
so I feel good knowing even as a healthy eater that I’m getting more variety of
fruits and veggies into my diet and the much-needed antioxidants which we all
need because there’s tons and tons of health benefits right there with whole
